What Fans Have to Say About Snood

As a 6th year undergrad student (I figure I have to graduate eventually if I just keep taking courses!) I understand the value of Snood. My favorite time to play it is at WORK. For a long time my supervisor didn't know about it, but a couple months ago she found out. Instead of being mad, she lets me play it whenever I want since she knows I'll get everything done sooner than later. I've almost reached my thousandth game of Snood, played at work. There is nothing better than getting paid for playing Snood!

I just want to say that Snood has helped our tax season go by easier. A friend at Bowling introduced me to Snood and I downloaded it at home then at work. My boss saw me playing it and wanted to try it so every night (we work 15-16 hour days during tax season) we relax at the end of the day by playing Snood. Actually my boss plays I watch. ha ha. I get to play in between processing tax returns. It helps to make the day go by a little easier.
Thank you,
Glo

I teach Emotionally Disturbed children ages 5-17 and I use Snood with the younger students all the time for eye, hand and color coordination. The students love it and at the same time they are learning something valuable.

There is a lady who has lost a lot of weight, and she has a website: www.dwlz.com (Dottie's Weight Loss Zone). Everyone on the WWW message boards talks about her site, and refers everyone to it because she has so much information and so many links on her site. So while looking around there one day, I found SNOOD!!! And as she said IT IS ADDICTIVE!!!
Thanks... Mitzi

NEVER show college-age baby-sitters Snood...they will quit watching the kids! This happened to us. But hey-can you blame them? What a great way to tune out the kids and pass the time !

I'm a 55ish grandmother, who never got hooked on any type of game. Then I played Snood at work. Snood, was the deciding factor that convinced me to purchase a computer. Now, along with surfing the net, keeping in contact with my Son and Grandchildren, I play SNOOD.

I work in a hospital, and I became hooked on Snood when a student was shadowing in my department and introduced us to Snood. Our whole department is now hooked, and we even pick out people in the facility that look like Snoods! I love making my own graphics sets...all of my pets are now Snoods. Thanks for taking up hours of my time! :}

Although we are now out of college Snood is an incredible de-stresser. When I DL'd the game it was late night and I thought I would try one game.... 4hrs later I went to sleep. My wife would come home from the Hospital at 11pm and play til 3am! At my work I have an elderly resident "hooked on Snoods". She's an x-tetris fanatic. Now my 2.5 y.o. daughter has her own logon to the XP machine so she can "shoot Snoods"! What have we done OH MY!

My son's girlfriend introduced me to Snood and I've been hooked ever since. I also have it downloaded on my classroom computer as it is great for improving eye-hand coordination in students. Thanks!!!

My 81 year old father is a SNOODhead. This code is for him.

Thank you so much for the "special handling"! Hannah was very excited to get an email and the little Snood-a-holic loves having her own name show up on the screen. Thanks again for such a fun and thoughtful game. Hannah is 4 (and a half - as she is fond of reminding us). Snood is helping her not only work on patterns but she is actually getting some strategy going! Good stuff!

I've never been much for computer games, being of the tender age of 41, but from the first time I tried Snood 6 years ago, I was hooked. We then went for an extended period of time without a computer, and without Snood. The very first thing I did when I purchased my computer 5 months ago, was to finally purchase Snood! I can play for hours on end. I realized last night, however, that I was an addict through and through when I was looking at the dots on the weather map on TV and mentally visualizing the best place to shoot my Snood to drop the most dots!!

The dedicated volunteer members of the Mahtomedi Fire Department in conjunction with our equally dedicated Washington County Sheriff's Deputies would love the opportunity to test new and revolutionary evolutions of Snood. As we are often sitting around the fire hall with little else to do but buff and polish that which is smooth and shiny, we find ourselves quite addicted to the charming little heads. Nearing the end of our current Snood puzzles and journeys, we welcome any chance to get our Snood dependence satisfied with fresh games. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Firefighter Payne

Just 3 weeks ago I had surgery on my brain to remove several meningiomas. A craniotomy was done and the recovery is underway. I am writing to let you know that playing Snood is part of my rehab! I have relearned to use the mouse and improved my coordination as well as re-establishing neuropaths by playing. Granted, my scores aren't as high as they were, but it feels great to be playing again!

I am the guidance counselor at a title one school. I would just like to use it in my room for kids who are working on problems. The game is really good for kids with anger problems because it teaches them to look ahead to see what is going to happen. it teaches them to assess a situation for possible consequences.
Thanks,
Helen

I thought this would be a passing fancy but I am still addicted. It's not that I am so good at the game, it's that I cannot stop. I find myself chanting "Just one more game" until 3am. I even bought a gameboy so I could have my Snood wherever I go. I wish I could tell you that I am a teen but in fact; I am the mother of teens. Shhhhhh... :)
Thanks for considering me.

I found out about Snood from creatingkeepsakes.com message board. A MB for scrappers to come together and learn more about the craft from others. They were all discussing SNOOD one day and how addicted they all were to it. No one could get any scrapping done because they were all playing SNOOD. I tried it and my family has been addicted to it ever since. I told my parents about it, My mother is also addicted, and my grandparents who both play it every day. It is a great game and I am still learning the new things that you can do with the registered version. Hope this helps.

I found out about Snood at Quitnet.org - message boards for people trying to quit smoking. Apparently Snood has been very helpful. LOL
Take care,
Jessica

My daughter came across SNOOD online last year. She started playing, then I did. We told 2 of my sisters about it and they got hooked too. One registered last year. We laugh at the poems and knew we needed to register "to do what's right!" When my daughter is having a rotten day, we have a Snoodathon!
Thanks!

Thank you for your personal attention to your fans. I am the Vice President of the DMD Class of 2006 at the Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine, and I just wanted you to realize the impact you and your team of characters have had on our class. As you may realize, the dental school program is very rigorous and for the majority of the time very stressful. We have little time to enjoy a regular social life or even a regular meal. Many of us have found an outlet in your captivating game of SNOOD. I have been on the phone with colleagues, and shared many moments of silence as we are both making desperate attempts to move around that stubborn little NUMBSKULL. I have come into class or even into an exam and heard people claim that they ignored their Biochemistry textbook in order to play, "just one more game." When I arrive late to class, I see students using their laptops to make an effort to beat their highest score. And finally, I see as the weeks go by, a drastic improvement in our hand-eye coordination, which you can imagine is extremely important as future dentists. We have you, JAKE, SUNNY, MILDRED, ZOD, GEJI, MIDORIBE, and SPIKE to thank for this improvement. We have you to thank for providing a few moments, or even hours of an escape from the challenges we find in dental school. Keep up the good work.
Sincerely addicted,
Elizabeth

I get on the quitnet website and someone on there was saying they had found this game called Snood and that it was a lot of fun. She also said it was very fast paced so you didn't have time to smoke. The website is for people who are trying to quit smoking. You need something to do with your hands while you're going crazy not smoking and so she had found the game and suggested it to those of us on the message board. I do love the game, so much that I stayed up til 4:30 in the morning playing it, knowing I had to get up early for a dentist appt. You get addicted real quick. I was playing this afternoon and just had to make myself stop to go cook dinner. I don't know how old you are, but I was around when they had atari and I was addicted to space invaders then. Thanks for the Snood.

Wow, thanks for the nice reply. I'm not used to getting stuff like that when conducting business unless it is a big company like Amazon.com where you get those form replies and confirmations. If this is a form e-mail, well then, it reads quite nicely. If it makes you and Dave feel any better I have already told several people about Snood.com and I feel like one or two of them may become just as hooked as we are on it. My 8-year old loves it, especially the custom, puzzle, and journey options. My 2-year old is quite entertained by it. And I just love to sit and play on those few occasions that I can. I wish I could get Snood out to my husband who is a U.S. Marine deployed and on a ship right now in the heart of conflict. (His name is Dave, too!) I think he would enjoy this game quite well and it would give him a break from the operations and exercises they are engaged with currently. Anyhow, I am running on.... Thanks again...I think stuff like this is good customer service. I do feel appreciated.
Sincerely,
H. McGrew

(Snood sent Ms. McGrew several copies of Snood on CD for her husband's next care package.)
